Availability:
This is your opportunity to make your own beer without the hassle of having to purchase all the equipment necessary or having to go through the learning curve while taking on such a big project.
Time and date: Start time will be around 11 AM. The date is to be determined. The brew-master is semi-retired and can work around the winning bidders schedule.
You can choose from any of the following beer styles:
-
Hefeweizen
-
Red/Brown Ale
-
California IPA
-
Blonde
-
Aromatic IPA (the brew-master's favorite)
Or, you can pick up your own all-grain or extract kit, of your choosing at your local beer supply store. Please, no cold-fermenting beers like Lagers or Pilsners. The brew-master does not have the proper equipment (Temperature-Controlled Refrigeration) or the experience for doing these styles of beers.
You will get to take home your beer or a combination of your beer and a selection of what I have on the shelf. Also, we will be sampling different brews as we brew.
Beer making is essentially a three-step process
STEP 1: Brewing
-
All-grain 6-8 Hours*
-
Extract 3-5 Hours
STEP 2: Fermenting
10 Days - 40 Days
STEP 3: Bottling
2 Hours
*By choosing to use 2 all-grain batches (most likely) your time can be shortened to about 3 hours due to overlapping processes.
