TJ holds the only California Democratic seat that Cook Political rates as a toss-up. He’s being challenged by former office holder Rep. David Valadao. In 2018 Cox beat Valadao by just 862 votes – less than one percentage point – and the results were not final until November 28th, three weeks after the election. CA-21 is one of the poorest districts in CA, located in the Central Valley. TJ needs our support to ensure a decisive win in 2020 and keep this seat blue.
